A portfolio that gets out of the artist's way.
Challenge
The Problem
A creative portfolio lives or dies on its media. The work had to load fast and look cinematic, the design had to stay quiet enough to let the imagery breathe, and the whole thing had to keep running for years without becoming a maintenance burden.
Solution
The Approach
I built it on Roots Bedrock with a custom theme and a proper Webpack/SCSS pipeline, WordPress engineered like a product: composer-managed, environment-separated, version-controlled. The front end is deliberately spare so the films and stills take center stage.
